Inspired by my beautiful niece Josie; the Diaper Bag was created to:

   - Help 1st time moms, aunties and friends find quality affordable baby items that will actually be used.

   - Solve the dilemma of where to find baby gifts when you live in a rural area

When my sister found out she was pregnant we were all elated. She was having the 1st grandbaby in the family and that meant 3 excited aunties, an over the moon grandma and one uncle who didn’t know what to do. Being she lived 1700+ miles away in California, we began bombarding her with daily phone calls and texts asking her what her and baby needed. She began getting frustrated with all our questions and finally revealed she honestly didn’t know what all a new baby needs.

 

Putting myself in her shoes, I would be completely overwhelmed too!

 

That is how the idea for The Diaper Bag came to be. I began asking friends and family with new babies what were the products they used most, why they chose one brand over another and what products they felt were a waste of money. After lots of conversations, with moms young and old, and months of researching products and suppliers I felt confident The Diaper Bag could carry unique, quality items that mom and baby would love.

 

With that motivation The Diaper Bag launched online August 1, 2017. We’re still pretty new so any feedback on how to better serve you is always welcome.
